Delta Electronics makes RF, microwave, and millimeter wave connectors and cable assemblies, and it makes almost all of them under its own roof. The Beverly, Massachusetts headquarters is a 75,000 square foot vertically integrated plant running CNC lathes, milling, automated electroplating, robotic soldering, and RF testing up to 40 GHz. An 80,000 square foot plant in Nanjing repeats the same processes, and a manufacturing partnership in Kaohsiung, Taiwan has been in place since 2002. The parts end up in military aircraft, satellites, two-way radios, and broadcast equipment.
Interconnect is the entire product line, so bench work here is connector build and cable assembly to IPC and WHMA workmanship standards, finished with RF testing up to 40 GHz in Beverly and up to 65 GHz in Nanjing.
