Privacy
Effective: August 29, 2026.
We run job boards. That takes less of your data than you might expect, and this page lists all of it.
What we collect, and why
Nothing to browse. There are no accounts, no sign-in, and no advertising or tracking cookies. The only cookies we set ourselves are the anonymous page analytics cookies from our analytics layer. You can search, read a listing, and click through to an employer without telling us who you are. The one exception is a job alert, which needs your email address (see Job alerts below).
Search terms. When you search, we keep the words you typed, how many results came back, and whether you opened one of them. We use this to make search better. It is not tied to your name, your email, or your address, and we have no way to connect it back to you.
Contact form messages. If you write to us through the contact form on locatejobsnetwork.com, we keep your name, your email address, your organization if you gave one, the topic you picked, and your message. We use them to answer you. The message is stored in our database and emailed to the person who will reply.
Employer postings. If you post a job, we keep the posting and the contact details you gave us so we can run the listing, bill you, and reach you about it.
Bot checks. The contact form and the job alert signup use Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people from scripts. Turnstile looks at signals from your browser and may set its own cookie for that purpose. It is Cloudflare's service; their privacy policy covers it: https://www.cloudflare.com/privacypolicy/
Server logs. The sites run on Cloudflare. Like any host, Cloudflare records the IP address and browser details of each request for security and to keep the service running. We do not build profiles from those logs.
Job alerts
If you ask one of our boards to email you new jobs, we keep:
- your email address;
- the search you saved, and how often you want the email;
- any employers you mute;
- which jobs each alert has sent you; and
- when you last opened a job from an alert email, though not which job. We do not track whether you open the email itself.
We use these to send the alert, to leave out jobs you already got and employers you muted, and to pause an alert that has gone unused. Nothing is sent until you confirm the alert from the first email, and an alert you never confirm is deleted after 7 days.
Every alert email has a link to change the alert or mute an employer, and a link to unsubscribe. Unsubscribing deletes the alert at once. We keep an alert until you delete it, and the record of which jobs it sent is deleted within 90 days.
What we do not do
- We do not sell your data, rent it, or trade it.
- We do not run advertising networks or tracking pixels on the sites.
- We do not use your contact-form message for marketing.
- We do not use a job alert's email address for anything but that alert.
- We do not keep a record of which listings you read.
Who else touches your data
Only companies that do a job for us, and only the data that job needs:
- Cloudflare hosts the sites, the database, and the bot check.
- Resend delivers our email: the copy of contact-form messages that comes to us, and job alert emails.
- Employers receive nothing from us when you click "Apply on employer site." That click takes you to their site, and what happens there is between you and them, under their privacy policy.
Where the listings come from
Listings come from employers who post with us and from job feeds we license. A listing may show an employer's name and location; that is business information about the employer, not personal data about you.
How long we keep things
- Search terms: 12 months.
- Contact-form messages: 12 months after the conversation is done, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
- Job alerts: until you delete the alert or unsubscribe. The record of which jobs an alert sent: 90 days. An alert never confirmed: 7 days.
- Employer postings: for as long as the listing runs, plus our billing records.
Your choices
Email us at privacy@locatejobsnetwork.com to ask what we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. We answer from a real inbox, usually within a few business days. If you are in a place whose law gives you further rights over your data (the EU, the UK, California, and others), those rights apply and the same address is where to use them.
Children
The sites are for people looking for work or hiring, and are not aimed at anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes
If this page changes in a way that matters, we will update the effective date at the top. We will not quietly widen what we collect.
