Conexon works on fiber-to-the-home built by electric cooperatives, a corner of broadband with its own rules and its own funding streams. Founding partner and co-CEO Randy Klindt is credited on the company's own page with architecting the fiber-to-the-home design many co-ops now use, and co-CEO Jonathan Chambers brings three decades of telecommunications regulatory and federal funding work, including FCC auction consortium bidding. Conexon Connect is the retail internet brand attached to that co-op work.
